Gwendolyn Crumpton is a Licensed Professional Counselor who offers individual therapy for adults and children, as well as family therapy at PRI Counseling, Inc. She specializes in relational issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, adjustment/life changes, substance abuse, and issues related to having an intellectual disability. She also specializes in child and adolescent specific issues: behavioral problems, ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relational issues, attachment, trauma, and adjustment/life changes. She has additional training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents, and is a Certified Child Life Specialist. Besides counseling, she is also available to provide ADHD and IQ testing. She has a Specialist in Education degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s Degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo.
Gwendolyn began serving as PRI’s Executive Director on January 1, 2016. She is very excited about the future of the organization and its growth potential, and looks forward to many years of service to PRI.
